Alf
Alf has significant senior level experience in designing and delivering work based learning programmes for large organisations. He has also developed and led successful employer engagement strategies in a higher education context. Alf’s own special blend of knowledge and practice that he has gained from holding senior positions in both academic and non-academic sectors enable him to work effectively at the interface between the two, and have given him the insight to produce sharply tailored learning programmes that integrate personal and organisational development aspects into the curriculum - when Deputy Director, Alf successfully re-launched Strathclyde’s Graduate Business School Executive Development Programmes, for example. He concentrated the quality of delivery and on large organisations for whom he developed bespoke learning.
Alf is comfortable working at senior level and is a clear and effective communicator. He has extensive experience of working with Local Authorities and the NHS to develop learning and senior leadership programmes.
Cathy
Cathy has an outstanding track record of managing and delivering training and organisational learning. She has a remarkable balance of experience of working in large private sector organisations and with training and learning suppliers, also in the private and public sectors. In the early part of her career Cathy was responsible for delivery of training and its management in a number of large private sector organisations including Mars Electronics. She then moved to work at Roffey Park as Assistant Director liaising with client organisations to ascertain their specific requirements and designing and delivering appropriate bespoke leadership and management training and development solutions. Most recently Cathy has designed and delivered a series of interventions to facilitate major change within a university which included delivering executive coaching for senior academic and non-academic staff.
Doyin
Doyin has a great combination of different skills and experience to support employer engagement. She is both a highly qualified researcher and an effective lecturer having designed and delivered MBA courses at Cranfield in organisational behaviour; courses that are enhanced and guided by her own PhD research in the area.
In addition to her high level research and teaching, Doyin is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and has several years experience of working as a business psychologist with a major consulting firm specialising in the area. She is familiar and confident in working with staff at all levels from public and private sectors and leading commercial projects to a successful conclusion.
A strong theme to all Doyin’s work is her excellent written and communication skills that enable herto make complex concepts and projects accessible to technical and non-technical audiences.
Mike
Mike has a rare blend of senior academic and private sector experience and has worked extensively at the boundary between employers and Higher Education. He has successfully led major and complex strategic projects in a University environment and as Deputy Chief Executive of the HE Careers Service. With the private sector Mike has worked as Academic Operations Director for Laureate Online Learning where he managed the production of online MBA programmes.
Mike has experience at the highest level and would be ideal for you if you are looking for someone to undertake planning and management of complex projects. He has particular expertise in the provision of detailed documentation and supporting information or the development of online learning for employer engagement.
Suzanne
Suzanne is experienced in educational project management with specialist knowledge of the Higher Level Skills Agenda and Access to Higher Education for employees and vocational learners. She has hands on experience of successfully preparing programmes for HE validation at undergraduate level. With strong organisational skills, Suzanne is experienced in budget management, collecting and compiling statistical and evaluative data and designing and implementing project systems and procedures. She is an accomplished report writer and has used her skills in written communication to prepare promotional material to attract learners.
Suzanne also has experience in identifying business development needs in HE and FE, particularly with regard to innovative credit-based provision for new target groups of learners, and has experience in carrying out professional development in support of such new provision.
Suzanne’s practical project management experience would be ideal for clients wanting immediate support in getting a new project up and running or for those who require extra management capacity for an existing or concluding project. |
